What you'll do

We will meet at Old Buck Trailhead to immerse ourselves in the rainforest on 2 hour woodland walk. The goal of our journey through the forest is to appreciate and discover the rich plant life including berries, greens, and mushrooms that are currently in season. We are excited to share our knowledge about the ecocultural context of our forests, and give you a greater appreciation for biodiversity and availability of wild food. This is an educational walk and we will *not* harvest from the park. Discover British Columbia's forests with us, through the lens of abundance and conservation. We will stop for a short snack break including wild mint and local honey tea for you to enjoy in the peace of the forest.

Where you'll be

We will explore the foothills of Mt. Seymour. This is a beautiful, protected forest, a little ways off the beaten path so you can see the full abundance of what our forests have to offer. This is also a multi-use mountain bike trail with hiker-only trails that we will be exploring.
