Brilliant licensed art and history guide, PhD, with a decade experience, I enjoy sharing my love for Florence with others. Pleasure in life must be holistic - and Italy is an ideal country for this. My tours of Florence are outstanding - my experiences of Tuscany and the Cinque Terre sublime - and my Sicily is breathtaking. I'm driven by passion for local Italy, my home over the past 19 years. Here, I studied in Rome and Florence, worked in Parma, the Cinque Terre and Tuscany, and of course fell in love - in Sicily. It's this pleasure, careful research and local knowledge that I share on tour.

Anna is a wonderful storyteller. If you are thinking of an introduction to Florence, take this tour. Take this immediately after arriving in Florence to know about the city and its ancient history.

I would rate this tour a 10 if AirBnB’s scale allowed it! Ihad the privilege of a private tour with Anna, which meant we went off script immediately. I felt like I had a MasterClass in the history of Florence. I chose to focus on the politics & governance of Florence and Anna is skilled enough and knowledgeable enough to run with it. I enjoyed my time with Anna very much and would book this tour again in a heart beat as I only scratch the surface of her knowledge.

I was the only person for this tour. I felt Anna customized the tour around my wishes. We pretty much stayed in the same place and just talked about art and history. Would recommend.
