What you'll do

Let’s meet at the Weltzeituhr or World Time Clock on Alexanderplatz. Since I wrote a travel guide about the communist past of Berlin, I know all the secret places where communist architecture is still alive. On our tour I will show you 3 hidden spots, which are even unknown to Berlin citizen. Spots that you will not find in any travel guides! The tour is also suitable for fans of lost places. Please note that the tour is on your own risk. Photos are allowed on all the places. Bring your mobile phone!

Where you'll be

We’ll meet at Alexander Platz, once heart of East Berlin and home to the buildings where the communist state showed off its might. Moving east into Friedrichshain, we’ll visit Karl Marx Allee.
