What you'll do

We will walk and live a traditional neighbourhood in Cuenca: Barrio Las Herrerías (Blacksmiths’ District) practicing a little bit of Spanish. We will meet at a Plaza where we can talk about the colonial years and the present on the neighbourhood, then tasting traditional snacks (tortilla de choclo, tigrillo and humitas) and drinks (agua de frescos, naranjilla juice and hot milk chocolate) in three different places. After that, we will watch a demonstration in one blacksmith’s workshop. Then, we will visit: Casa Chaguarchimbama, Quinta Bolívar (for some History) and Parque Paraíso (for a nice nature hike in the city)
