What you'll do
You will enjoy exclusively the traditional water ceremony, as the locals have done since the origins of Balinese Hinduism. You will be greeted personally by the family of the local shaman at the beautiful meeting point Warung Padi Bali and then accompanied in small groups to their home in the jungle. Arriving at the family home, everyone is first welcomed warmly and provided with sweet fruits and small snacks, the famous Bali-Kopi (coffee) is of course not missing. Afterwards, we take a short walk to the magical place where the water ceremony takes place, in the middle of the jungle. During the ceremony they meditate together, their whole being is purified with the water and afterwards they are blessed by the Balian. After the ceremony they go on their way to the Holy House where the healing session will be held if needed. If you have questions about areas of your life this is the right time to get clarity with the help of Pak Mangku. The needed clothes, like a sarong etc. will be provided.
My name is Janic and I prefer to spend my time on the Island of the Gods. Since some time I accompany interested people to my Balinese friend Pak Mangku and support him in the traditional ceremony and/or the healing process. The shaman Pak Mangku has been accompanying the villagers for over 20 years to more awareness and activating their self-healing processes. The art of shamanism, and the gifts associated with it, have been passed down through generations. His father was already a shaman of the village Munduk, until Pak Mangku took over this responsibility for his fellow men. We now open the door for those who want to enjoy this unique spiritual experience with a real Balian in a magical place in the jungle.
Freshly picked fruits from the jungle and sweet treats will spoil your palate.
Water, tea and Bali-Kopi (coffee) are offered to the guests.
Clothing for the water ceremony will be provided.
