What you'll do

Discover Lake Okanagan and Kelowna on a horse back ride with picnic break - breath taking views guaranteed ! Guests start at 10am at the ranch which is located at the entrance to Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park, below the famous Myra Canyon with its 100y old train bridges as part of the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. No riding experience required. Our guides start the day with a 15 min familiarization round in our rinding arena. After that we head out and into the provincial park. Our trails lead through the protected forest and about 20 min later into the area where the biggest wild fire British Columbia ever had was. From our riding trails our guests enjoy views down to Kelowna, the lake Okanagan and the valley. The wild fire left the area wide open with views and starts slowly to regrew. After 2h on single trails up and down we reach a little peak with picnic place and fire pit. After a 1h lunch break we head back to the ranch on a different route. Arrival at the ranch will be around 2pm.

What's included

Food
Lunch package for the ride. It must be small to get packed into saddle bags.

Where you'll be

Start is our ranch 500m above Kelowna right at the entrance to the Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. From there we use the parks trail network and a few hidden paths to reach an area with knee deep ponds in the middle of the forrest. This is one of the rare spots to see wildlife in our hot and dry summer with a good chance of a moose or deer sighting. A little below the 100y old Kettle Valley Railway Trail is a pinnacle with breath taking views.
