What you'll do
We will meet at the Sixflags ‘s parking lot, at 9 am, from there you will be guided to the trail -head of the Axochco (Ajusco) mountain. Before beginnig the ascent, we will ask ceremonial permission to the mountain and you will be cleansed with the sacred white copalli. We will hike for 3- 3.5 hours - approx learning the Nauatl names of the surrounding mountains (Popocatepetl, Iztacciuatl, Xinantecatl, etc), and enjoying a lite mexican traditional breakfast. At the summit of the Pico del Aguila (Eagles’ Peak, 11,023 ft), we will have a thanyou ceremony for the mountain in Nauatl with music. We will return to the meeting point at 6 pm approx.

Where you'll be
The Axochco mountain is the highest peak in Mexico city. It has a beautiful forest in the bottom and amazing boulders up top. On a clear day you can see the whole city at your feet.
