We will write personalized poetry for Miami. You will learn tips on how to write improvisational poetry on a vintage typewriter. You'll feel first hand what it is to make Miami locals smile with your poetry. You'll feel the creative rush of writing in the middle of crowd hungry for poetry. We'll get to write together, shoulder to shoulder, in Miami's Wynwood Art District; and you'll fit right in like the poet that you are, next to Miami's own, The Biscayne poet.

Oscar Fuentes aka The Biscayne Poet is a performance artist from Miami, and the front man for The Oscar Fuentes Combo, a musical project where he blends his original beat-poetry with a Latin jazz fusion band.
He is the author of three books of poetry, prose and plays: Beautiful Women Will Never Know (2013), 4Nights with Betsy (2014), Vagabond (2015), WELCOME HOME (2019)

Where you'll be

We'll visit Biscayne Bay (My source of inspiration). We will visit the historic Vagabond Motel where I wrote my Vagabond book. (you'll get a signed copy) We will finish the night in Wynwood Arts District where we will be writing typewritten poetry for Miami locals over drinks and good conversation.
