What you'll do

As I said before, I'm managing a homestay which is my studio as well , from here it takes only 10 minutes walk to the Big market and 15 minutes walk to the Victory Statue and the Museum... So it's very convenient if you stay here. Price for homestay is 230.000d for the first guest and +120.000 for each more guest (max for 4). Ask me for more information. Or if you only want to do experience, ok come to my place and let's begin our journey with a cup of coffee which is on my house. ... BMT is considered as "Little Saigon", because we citizens are from every parts of Vietnam, just like me, i'm from the North. I lead you go around the town center and enjoy "Little Saigon" combined with "City of coffee". At a so-so coffee shop, I will teach you how to make a simple print painting with black coffee. It takes us 1 hour with this activity while doing and talking. Then we move to Ako D'hong ethnic village (only 10 km from the center), and in an Ede traditional long house we'll learn how to do another print paintings with leaves or flowers that we pick up on our way, seems plain but will look really great in a good frame, you know. You can bring your artworks home as little presents for your family and friends with all of your story to tell.

Van

I spent 5 years in Hochiminh University of Architect learning about Industrial design, but today I work with Art and Craft, not "industry" any longer. I do paintings, handmade accessories, handmade linen bags and other interesting local souvenir gifts that I want to share with you like experiences rather than just selling products. I've tried to manage a homestay as well but it doesn't work well because we are not tourist city, but with all guests that came to me, they all gave me good feedback about my Artworks. So I think why don't I manage experiences instead? I guess the reason we don't have many tourists here because you tourists don't know what to do or what to enjoy in the city, not charming like Nha Trang beach or Dalat land of flowers! Ok, let me show you what we have - Art & coffee & the City!^^

Where you'll be

Buonmathuot today is well-known as "City of coffee", that's why I want to combine Art with Coffee during our journey. I 'll take you to 3 coffee shops with 3 different styles - the first one is on the pavement (street food are one of our Vietnamese culture, you know!), the next one is Trung Nguyen coffee village (they also have World Coffee Museum). The last one is in an ethnic village - Ako D'hong.
