What you'll do

What is better than visiting a typical market and trying local food? Doing it with local residents of course! We encourage you to come with us to the market at Teror and discover the canarian gastronomy. We will visit the market where canarian residents from all over the island come to try out the products. The exterior market is very special because it only opens on sundays and has a very welcoming atmosphere. We will walk around the town, telling you some tales and stories that bring us good memories. For example, Elena remembers going to mass with her father and then buying products at the market. We want you to feel like one of Teror. In the market we will see the most traditional and typical stalls: artisan breads and sweets, cheeses, fruits… We will advise you on what products you could buy and which are our personal favourites. After a wander around the main stalls, we can recommend some traditional shops in Teror that offer very unique things to you. Here we have the opportunity to choose what to see next depending on your own interests and what tickles your fancy most. We will finish our experience with a typical snack, a drink and a very canarian experience.❤

Where you'll be

We will meet in the bus station of Teror. From here, we will walk to the main street and make a stop in front of the Basílica del Pino, where I will explain to you why Teror is so important for us and in the history of the island. Afterwards we will walk together through the traditional stalls of the market. We will make some stops in traditional or unique stores and we will finish the experience with a typical snack in our favourite square.
