In Cunha, the calendar of festivities of the Catholic Church is intensely lived out by the community. The Holy Week activities begin on the weekend preceding Easter with the ceremony of the eve of Palm Sunday and continue until the Monday after Easter Sunday, the day of Saint Benedict's feast. Participants, at their option, will be free to take a break during mass and/or the procession and/or take a shortcut during the procession to catch up with it further ahead along the route.

What to bring

Comfortable footwear to follow the procession on foot.

Where you'll be

Part of our itinerary will take place in the Main Church, Parish of Our Lady of Conception, dated from 1731. The other part will happen on the streets in downtown along which the Raging Fire procession will proceed.
