What you'll do

This is a unique way to discover the gastronomic rich world of Southwest of France. My three hours will take you to a journey of tastings and interesting stories behind some of the best specialties coming from Bordeaux, Dordogne, Lot et Garonne and of course the amazing Frech Basque country. In the morning tour, we will visit the market, talk to some of the merchants and taste a lot of local goodies. From there we will move on to the historic part of Bordeaux to taste some local deserts you can find only in this region of France. Throughout the whole tour, you will hear interesting anecdotes about the French approach to food and discover some foodie streets in the city. This is a magical experience for anyone who likes food and wants to get to know this beautiful city and the region in an original way.

Ira

After moving to Bordeaux and falling in love with it, I founded a blog called Lost in Bordeaux, where I help people discover the best places to eat and visit in Bordeaux and update them on all the big events taking place in the city. A few months ago I co-founded Bordeaux Secrets and with my partner, we offer Historic and foodie tours in Bordeaux. Trough my traveling and writing about the area I became passionate about the food in Southwest of France and I want to make you discover it!
