I love the outdoors and spend my weekends hiking. I've spent the majority of my life on the Olympic peninsula, and frequently hike many of the trails here. Let me share some of my favorite hikes with you!

What we’ll do

Parking costs $3 but I will cover that for you. We will hike through the Dungeness wildlife preserve, and along the Dungeness spit. It is one of the largest natural sand spots in the world. At the end of the spit, there is a lighthouse that gives tours, and we can eat lunch. I can cook a dehydrated meal on a small backpacking stove for us to share, or tot ate welcome to pack your own…

What else you should know

Be prepared to hike at low tide. The time of low tide always changes, so our hike could be any time of day.

Where you'll be

We will park at the Dungeness wildlife Reserve and this is where we're will begin our hike. Then we will make our way to theDungeness Sand Spit. At the end of the spit, we will reach the Dungeness Lighthouse.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 15 and up can attend. Guests should be able to hike 10.5 miles.
