Hello, I am Marc Oris. I studied tourism in Belgium and since 1985 I have been working as a tour guide. I had the ability to learn 5 foreign languages very quickly and through my travel experiences I came accross the idea of guiding people, willing to share my knowledge with them. I started to guide tours all over Europe and ended up having my own tours since 2000. Since Belgium is famous for its chocolate, beer and food I started to organize private tours.
After two years these private tours became regular tours with ohter experienced guided joining my team. We were the first ones to organize a regular chocolate tour and workshop in Brussels. Still today I like what I do and everyday I am motivated to give our customers the best possible experience.

Awesome tour! The structure of the tour was great, started with the basics and then gradually walked us through all the different qualities and types of chocolates ending with a beautiful champagne truffle that is to die for! Sebastian was super knowledgeable and friendly. And it’s not just chocolate, you get some of the landmarks and history in as well which was great. Overall, great experience, highly recommend!!

We were hosted by Mary on this trip- she is a wonderful Belgium native with a passion for chocolate and history. We saw churches and other archeological sites while sampling from hand-picked chocolate shops along the way. Mary was able to cater to our desire for a good value on Belgian chocolates by taking us to the place where she personally shops. Lots of steps and the workshop was complete and cute, we got to take away our creations.

We ended up being the only people on the tour with lovely tour guide Mary. She really wanted us to have the best experience possible, from asking us lots of questions to personalise the tour to us to taking photos for us and everything in between. Mary was great and very knowledgeable and it was great fun making the chocolates in the experience as well.
