What you'll do
1.5 hours- street food and market tour + 2 hours- siu mai making workshop First we will arrive at a local street food arcade where I will introduce you to authentic Hong Kong street food. You will also get to experience some iconic, quality dishes including fish balls, Egg waffle and siu mai. Next we will head to a typical Hong Kong public market to do the shopping for our dim sum workshop, as well as a tour around the wet and dry markets where you will learn about the culture, traditions and typical local ingredients. After shopping we will travel back to the tower block in which we have our practical kitchen, where we will begin our two hour fun and interactive dim sum making workshop. When we have finished making the dim sum, traditional Chinese tea will be served with our creations. After we have enjoyed our meal together we will head up to the 47th Floor to enjoy the majestic view of the Victoria Harbour and Lion Rock!

Food is my passion - for four years I worked as assistant chef in a modern Chinese kitchen. I learnt the tricks of the trade while helping to shape an ever changing menu which embraced old techniques to craft contemporary gastronomic experiences. My other great passion is travel - through my journeys I seek the most hidden and authentic places to try exciting new food. I am constantly seeking the most genuine, local flavors. I greatly enjoy hosting people, sharing my passions, and most importantly making sure everyone is having a good time.
