This experience is the perfect option for busy travelers and it will only take about two hours. When I was traveler, I didn't have much time to experience many things. I know that time is precious and want you to learn effectively so that I decided to offer this experiences. First, I will show you video of what you will experience. Then, you will learn about calligraphy. I will teach you some rules. You can practice as much as you want. You can take calligraphy back. Then, you will learn about tea ceremony. I will show you the whole procedure and you will enjoy Japanese sweets and matcha tea. You can whisk tea on your own if you want. Lastly, we will visit shrine nearby. I will teach you how to pray. There are rules about how to visit shrine formally so learning how to visit temples and shrine is important . The nearby shrine is small but has history of 550 years.

Where you'll be

It will be held at my private home which is traditional old house where you can see the traditional way of living. Traditional old house became rare to find these days since there are many modern buildings in Tokyo. Every house facility is all Japanese-style, there is a tea room where you can have a tea ceremony in the house. As it is near from Shinjuku, transportation is convenient, bus and subway trains frequently comes.
