What you'll do
We explore the fantastic and unique mountains of the Surselva on an e-mountain bike. The half-day tour takes us across field roads to farm settlements, through alpine pastures and trails in forests and in open terrain, to ever-changing, scenic areas.
We meet at the Radieni house in Flond (Obersaxen). The experience begins with the imparting of e-bike knowledge and attitudes to your individual needs. As a start, the tour leads over a simple flat field road before we climb from approx. 1100m above sea level to 1500m above sea level. We will take breaks at various viewpoints to enjoy the beauty of the landscape, take photos or to fortify ourselves with a snack and drinks. During the tour, I try to teach my guests something of our Raetoromanish language, its history and culture in the Surselva.
My local knowledge enables you to experience a hidden, very varied mountain world with various topographies together with the fascination of movement on the e-bike.
At various points on the tour there is the possibility to stop at mountain huts or restaurants and enjoy local products. The tour ends at the starting point, where we end the experience with a snack and drink.
Other things to note
Depending on the weather situation, the guests themselves decide on the implementation.
Although we are traveling with e-bikes, a basic physical condition and first bike experiences are an advantage. However, the driving corner is adapted to the wishes of the participants.

I'm Peter and I have many years of mountain bike experience. I was a tour guide for several years and therefore I am familiar with the wishes and diverse requirements of mountain bike athletes. I was born in the Surselva and grew up there. After spending several years abroad, the fascination of the mountains brought me back home.
It is a pleasure for me to present our unique landscape, language (Rhaeto-Romanic) and culture to our guests in combination with sporting exercise.
