What you'll do

Forget the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque and the Spice Bazaar... these are tourists' traps. Worth to be seen, maybe, but the real scene of markets and bazaars of Istanbul is... somewhere else!! Every day of the week there are huge weekly local markets in different neighborhoods of the city, NOT-touristic and authentically local parts of the city. Our experience will include a walk into one of the farmers' weekly markets (WM), where plenty of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, olives, spices as well as clothes and textiles are sold. A lot of tasting and learning. Also we will visit some important historical monument, huge and sublime imperial mosques (M), old churches (C), some interesting local neighborhoods (N), really worth to visit in itself. Be aware: sometimes these non-touristic destinations can be very important, real hidden gems, secret treasures, forgotten or ignored by mass tourism Starting Point changes every Day.
