Absolutely wonderful experience. Something that I could have never done on my own. I saw there are quite a few experiences for Block Printing on AirBNB however why I chose to do this with Arpit was 1. Because I had done one tour with his Co-Host Nidhi and 2. This experience was conducted in a village with the artist community. Arpit was very warm and had great knowledge about Bagru Block Printing history and techniques . He has been doing these tours for over 8 years now and was the first to start this in the village. He took me to a local school, we met block carvers, saw printing in different houses and he also told me about Mud printing, Indigo Dyeing and finally block printing. I also made a scarf myself using different blocks and took it back as a souvenir. The experiences was something I will cherish for very long !
