What you'll do

After a demonstration you can make your own bowl for tea and plate for sweet, used in the tea ceremony or if you prefer you can make a beautiful vase. You will learn and have fun building beautiful ceramic utilitarian objects. For an additional cost I can send you what you do in my workshop to your house if you wish. The workshop is equipped with everything necessary to work, in a beautiful place with a pleasant atmosphere. You will know how a workshop for high temperature ceramics is and some techniques, tools and materials that are used for this ancient art, which endures today.

Learn more about Alejandra

Alejandra

I studied ceramics at MOA Toluca, Mexico. At school, I learned Japanese techniques for making high-temperature ceramic pieces, as well as the philosophy of Master Mokichi Okada and the tea ceremony (bontemae) and flower arrangement (korinka). After graduating, I started with a personal project called Abracadabra, with which I have been working for 5 years, which consists of a workshop and a brand. In the brand I sell my work, I make commissions and productions in series. Currently the workshop is located in a quiet place where you work in the company of nature.
