What you'll do
We will start our tour outside the Cutty Sark ship by the Cutty Sark station (Outside the entrance to the shop), with some interesting facts on this historic old ship on display - once the fastest sailing ship in the world.
We then head on to the Old Royal Naval College, one of the most famous and scenic riverside views in the world, with its gorgeous buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren, 300 years ago. You will discover how the place has evolved over time.
We'll then walk up to the pristine and elegant Queen's House, taking in beautiful views across the river, and learn about its incredible history as one of the earliest buildings still standing in Greenwich.
Then, we'll walk up through lovely parklands to the Greenwich Observatory, where an amazing historical story unfolds - You will see the historic source of the Prime Meridian of the world, Longitude 0° 0' 0''. The world's prime meridian marks the divide between the eastern and western hemispheres. By this, you can then take incredible photos of the amazing views of London (get your friends and family jealous on Instagram)!
Finally, we'll then walk back down and finish at Greenwich market for some FREE tasty samples of British fudge, along with a chance to check out all the clothes, art, food and drinks market stalls.
Other things to note
Please text 07849023046 with any questions. There is no insurance cover for the walking trip.
