What you'll do
Every 4th Sunday of the month we have the pleasure of working with a winemaker from California. We'll try five expertly crafted wines with five courses prepared by Chef Lamont Perriman. Sommelier Patrick Cress will facilitate the discussion, and guide the tasting, focusing on food pairing ideas through analyzing wine, gaining a winemaker's perspective on winemaking, learning why each wine was chosen for a specific dish, and fielding questions from YOU. If you prioritize delicious food, enjoy informative conversation, want to sharpen your food and wine pairing chops, or relish the opportunity to interface with an experienced winemaker, without pretension, this event is for you.
A veteran of the restaurant business since 1993, and a certified sommelier since 2009, I've directed over a dozen beverage programs and continue to consult for several bay area restaurants. I've trained hundreds of restaurant employees how to taste and sell wine. What developed over the last decade is a passion for teaching about food & wine, while continuing a lifelong pursuit of refining my own own food & wine pairing knowledge.
Each guest will enjoy a five course meal. Vegetarians are welcome. Please contact us with your dietary restrictions.

Where you'll be
Naked Kitchen, a Queen Victorian built in 1870, located in the heart of the Mission on Valenica Street in San Francisco, is an intimate place perfect for The Secrets to Food & Wine workshop. It is a beautiful venue with an open and bright space, with unique community displayed art, large, open kitchen, and a meditative backyard area. Naked Kitchen features up-and-coming chefs whose menu is based on their unique style and personal stories.
