What you'll do

09:00 clock you will be picked up at the meeting point and we go with the dinghy to the sailing yacht. On board we offer you a drug (Dramin) against seasickness and you will receive a short safety instruction. Then we sail past the lighthouse of Barra on the Atlantic Ocean. The experience of recent years predicts a 95% probability that whales can be observed. The observation area will be reached after about two hours. There we stay for about three hours. Water, fruit and biscuits are offered in between. After hopefully many pictures taken and an exciting whale watching we sail back to the marina. By participating, you make an active contribution to the protection of humpback whales.

Hartmut

I quit my appointment as a speech therapist in a neurological clinic, bought a 15-meter-long German sailing yacht (Bavaria 49), sailed as a skipper from Croatia to Salvador (3 months) and would like to invite you to experience the fascination of humpback whale watching with my sailing yacht , I am in possession of 4 sailing licenses, 3 radio tickets and a diving certificate and a multi-year sailing experience u.a. in the bay of Sal.. The co-host Glaucileia Dias-Hufeld supports me with this discovery. Most whale watching trips will have a biologist on board, who will give you more interesting information about the humpback whales. This whale watching tour was created with the friendly support of the International Humpback Whale Institute in Praia do Forte. http://www.baleiajubarte.org.br/projetoBaleiaJubarte/
