What you'll do

While we picnic you will be making your own "Breathing Bracelet", which you can use daily in your newly learned "Power Breathing" practice. Here is what I am going to teach you: 1. First a breathing technique to test how much stress your body is physically holding on to. If you do this daily you will form a better understanding of how your daily environment impacts your stress levels. 2. Then a Breathing tool that will not only enable you to release the stress from your body, but also improve your ability to focus and be productive. 3. And we'll finish off with a breathing practice that will flood your body with your own natural "Feel Good" hormones: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins. At the end of the workshop you will feel cleansed, refreshed, rested an clear of mind, as if you've just had the best night's sleep.

Hi, I am Curious Pierre. How often do you pay attention to your breathing? I've been a martial arts teacher and life coach for well over 20 years, and this experience combines some of my biggest passions into one: Teaching health and wellness, my love of people, and the scenic diversity of Johannesburg. Come and take a walk with me while I teach you power breathing. We'll explore the beauty of Johannesburg, have a picnic, and drink the BEST coffee that Africa has to offer (or you may choose tea if you want).

Where you'll be

We will be exploring a scenic National Park, in the heart of the city. Not only is this park beautiful in it's own right, it also offers spectacular views of Johannesburg. And in it I have chosen exquisite spots for your picnic, breathing and mindfulness experience.
