What we’ll do

We begin the tour in the heart of 'The West' at the secondhand bookshop 'Bell Book and Candle', that is so much more than a bookshop. We begin to look at some of the sites associated with the work of Ken Bruen and his famous creatiuon 'Jack Taylor', a dark detective series popular on 'Netflix'. Next up we look at the work of Walter Macken, one of the greats of 20th Century Iriish literature…

We will be visiting the following areas : The cultural area of the 'West end', Dominik street area, Nun's island, Nora Barnacle's hous, The latin quarter, Shop steep and the Spanish Arch area.
