We are Martina and Lewis. Our love of photography took us to take a Degree in Contemporary Photography. What we’ll do

You will be greeted with a cuppa and a smile, before going over a very brief introduction to the history, practitioners, and the art and science of the cyanotype process (with a little handout to take home). After this we will dive straight into making your own cyanotypes from pre-coated paper with the use of various objects (flowers, buttons, lace, anything!), this will all be guided with Martina…

We have on site parking and great transport links. No disabled access (sorry in advance). No children under the age 16 (please check our family/ child friendly option). Toilet facilities on site.

What I’ll provide

Coffee, Juice, Soft drinks, Tea and Water
There will be a variety of refreshments available.
Creative supplies
Everything you need to create a cyanotype print will be provided.

What to bring

Small items of various opacities that you think could create a fantastic cyanotype image. Good ideas are flowers, leaves and/or feathers
Warm jumper as the studio can get cold (season dependent, common sense needed)
Snacks/ food. Small snacks like biscuits will be provided.
Pre-send your selected images for making a digital negative.

Where you'll be

The workshop will conducted Inside our studio and darkroom (depending on weather, we can print outside and this also means we can go around the local nature reserve and you can pick your own flowers, leaves etc.).

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 4 guests ages 16 and up can attend.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
