My name is Jillian, one of the co-founders of VeloGuide which was launched in October 2017 as a bold new initiative to connect the traveling cyclist with a bike and a guide all across the globe. I will be your virtual host and Michael or Gabriel will be your VeloGuide in Quebec City. Cycling in Quebec City is a great way to discover the historical beauty and culture of this majestic region of Canada. Here you will join a local VeloGuide who will provide a local cycling experience that is more than just a ride! With over 25 years experience exploring all four corners of the City and the surrounding area, this tour will provide you an opportunity to be transported back in time while discovering the best routes, tastes, scenery, and distinctive culture this region has to offer. Let our local show you his favorite place on the planet.

Where you'll be

Start: Meet at the Chateau Frontenac Hotel. First Stop: We will visit the Montmorency Falls. Second Stop: The Sainte Ann Basilica. Third Stop: Snack and coffee at Les Trois Becs in Beaupre which is our turn around point. Forth Stop: Coffee/water stop if needed on the return in Ange Gardien. Fifth Stop: This will be a market/coffee/beer stop in one of the sidewalk cafes in the lower section of Quebec City before returning to the Chateau

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 8 guests ages 18 and up can attend. You do not have to be a "pro" cyclist to enjoy this tour. The pace is very casual but steady. A decent level of fitness is still required as we will be covering over 30 km or riding and some small short hills…

This experience includes alcohol. Only guests who meet the legal drinking age will be served alcoholic beverages.

More tips

This is a ride for all levels though you should be able to ride 30 km distance and a pace of 20 - 22 kph. Bike rental is extra. If you require a bike, you will receive instructions on how to confirm the rental at VeloGuide.com and from your host.
