What you'll do

Carve your ring or pendant from jewellers wax, this workshop is designed to be a social and fun one! You will share a table with all other guests where you can exchange design ideas and advice, all over a glass of bubbly! Once you have made your piece you can decide if you’d like it cast, then let the girls at the workshop transform your pieces in to solid silver in their Drury Street studio. It will be professionally polished and deliver within 3-4 weeks. The price of the workshop includes guidance from the expert tutors, all design and wax carving materials and a glass of prosecco. At the end of it you’ll end up with a piece of jewellery carved in wax. If like most of our guests you love the finished product so much that you want to get it cast from wax into silver it is an additional €50 (payable in cash on the day of the workshop) to cover the material cost and caster’s fee. This can then be picked up in Dublin city centre or shipped worldwide. Other materials like gold/rose gold plating are also available for casting upon request.

Where you'll be

Our workshop will take place in Taste cafe. It’s a five minute walk away from Stephens Green, right in the heart of the city! I worked in Taste for many years as a student and they do the best brunch in Dublin! You can order items from the menu while we're there but we recommend heading in your own time to enjoy the food!
