Masayuki

Hi there! We, me Masayuki and my partner Kodo, are excited to offer you the Zazen experience! Kodo is a Japanese buddhist priest. He has experienced severe training since he was in his 10s, and now works as a resident in charge of Buddhist affairs and teaching Zazen in Kyoto. And, we have been engaged in activity of NPO(Non-Prifit Organization) to support people with mental aspirations and suicidal aspirations for years. The revenue earned from this program is fully in the interest of this NPO. If you are interested in Zazen, temple, and , Buddhismthen this is the one you should check up! At Choke-in temple, you're welcomed to do Zazen with us lectured by Kodo. (Japanese traditional tea included!)

About the organisation

NPO法人京都自死・自殺相談センター

We work to help people with serious mental problems and sucidal desires feel at ease. We accept consultations by telephone and email, and create opportunities to gather for people who have a desire for suicide. The high suicide rate is a major issue in Japan. We do not consider suicide as an absolute evil act. However, we hope that those who are suffering can live a little easier and help.

This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to NPO法人京都自死・自殺相談センター.

What's included

Food
Japanese sweet
Drinks
Japanese powdered green tea

Where you'll be

After we gather at the meeting location, we move to the venue of this program. That is a temple with the very traditional Kyoto atmosphere. The priest Kodo will guide you in the temple. You can feel the taste of the temple carefully.
