What you'll do
Upon arrival, you will sign in and have Korean tea while everyone to arrive. Afterwards, we will go to the kitchen and I will begin with how to make Bossam (steamed pork). Next comes the fun part making fresh handmade kimchi. As I demonstrate, we will get into teams (depending on the number of people), we will chop some various veges for the kimchi and make sauce. As we work you will prepare your own kimchi in your jar(s). Don't forget to bring one. By ending the class, we will enjoy tasting your own handmade kimchi with the hot steamed pork bossam. Yum!

I was born in Korea, and I have a passion for Korean cuisine. Korean food is like soul food for me. Cooking Korean food reminds me of my childhood days when families got together and enjoyed just spending each other's company. This is something I would like to do with this class... conveying the culture I grew up with and love through food. I love meeting new people and learning about their culture. I want to share with you how to cook the best healthy Korean food while highlighting the nutritional values of each dish and ingredients. I look forward to seeing you soon.
