What you'll do

Our tour will begin with a scenic ferry ride across the water to Dartmouth, leaving behind the typical tourist hot spots of Halifax! After a brief overview of our historical harbour we will make our way to the first of four stops, New Scotland Brewing Co. There you'll have a chance to taste 2 of their signature beverages including the world's oldest alcoholic drink, mead. Next, we'll pop around the corner to Brightwood Brewery for 2 more samples and a behind the scenes tour of their craft beer making process. This exclusive access is only available to guests on our tour. The third stop will take us next door to Lake City Cider, downtown Dartmouth's only cidery. If you're new to the world of ciders (or have only ever tried Strongbow) Lake City will waste no time in converting you into a fan of all things cider! The tour will come to an end with a generous sample pour at Battery Park, Dartmouth's premier craft brew bar. The local taps are always changing but guaranteed to be 100% Nova Scotian!
