What you'll do

DURING FEBRUARY THE TAYRONA PARK CLOSES. WE WILL HAVE OTHER DESTINATIONS TO ENJOY THE COLOMBIAN CARIBBEAN. THE PROGRAM WILL BE EQUAL BUT ON BEACHES OUTSIDE THE TAYRONA PARK.We will meet at 10.30 in the International Marina of Santa Marta, where we will board the Artivela, our sailboat, which is a 56 feet Cooper Mapple Leaf. At 11 am we will leave to our destination Bahia Concha in Tayrona Park. Navigation to our destination will take about 1.5 hours. We will take the time to explain the basics of sailing and talk about the curiosities of the park and its people. We will put our fishing rods . We will pass by the bay of Taganga and the Granate bay. Then, we will start the famous passage of Isla Aguja, the only island of Tayrona Park. Once we pass Isla Aguja, we will enter Bahía Concha and try to anchor as close to the beach as possible. Our experience partners can choose between swimming, walking on the beach, snorkeling or simply sunbathing on the boat. At 4.15pm we will begin our return to Santa Marta. We will sail and everyone will participate, you are in the hands of a real sailor. We will arrive at the Marina at 6 pm. Whoever wants to stay at the marina cafe can do it. There you can meet fascinating people who are sailing the world.

Luis

My name is Luis, I am an Economist and I used to work as a consultant for more than 20 years. I changed my work for my passion, sailing and enjoying nature, especially the sea. I have been sailing since I was 10 days old, it is a passion inherited from my family and I love to transmit my knowledge of the sea and navigation to the people who accompany me. Since I arrived in Colombia with my family I have had the opportunity to know the Tayrona in a way that people do not know, from the sea. It is a unique experience that I want to show you. I am bilingual (Spanish /English) and I love talking and telling local anecdotes. I am a yacht skipper and I have all the necessary courses to guarantee you safety and enjoyment of experience.
