What you'll do

The ponies and I will meet you at our meeting point where we will carry out introductions, get to know the ponies and cover safety tips, before we head off for the walk.
We will walk up the lane and through the fields, going at the ponies pace and allowing them to browse on the plants in the hedgerows. We’ll also collect cuttings and weeds to take back with us for their pony friends (in season only).
You will learn about wild plants and trees and how they benefit the ponies diet, plus more about pony care and behaviour.
We will finish the walk back at the pony field where we will give them a brush before turning them back out to the field.
You will be able to really get to know the ponies as individuals and see their different characters and personalities. With a calm and gentle approach, it won’t take long before they are queueing up for a scratch from you.
Other things to note
This is a leisurely walk that is perfect for animal lovers. If you cannot see a date or time that suits you, please contact me to request another date.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. No open toed shoes or sandals. The ponies cannot be ridden, this is for walking and grooming only

I’ve worked in Animal Welfare for over 10yrs and have a life long passion for all animals. I previously managed the RSPCA equine centre for horses and donkeys and have worked for Battersea Dogs and Cats home for many years.
I have a degree in Animal Management and I’m qualified with the British Horse Society and the Donkey Sanctuary. I am skilled in all aspects of equine husbandry, health, nutrition and behaviour with a wealth of experience in rehabilitating hundreds of abused and neglected animals.
I live just outside of Sevenoaks with a selection of my own rescued animals who have found me over the years. I Love to share my enthusiasm and passion for animals with others and share ideas for ways in which we can enhance the lives of our animal companions on this earth.

Anna was lovely and very patient with our family, which consisted of young kids too. She is clearly very knowledgeable and cares deeply about her mini ponies. I felt she struck a good balance between letting us take the lead with the ponies but helping when we needed it. The rural setting was a great escape from the big city and we felt truly immersed in nature.

I had the BEST time with Anna and the ponies! The setting was beautiful and we had a nice, easy walk with a couple of the most adorable animals I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. It was a lovely trip out of the city and I wish I could do it again!

Fantastic experience. Anna was very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the ponies were even cuter than I expected! I would definitely recommend this experience.

My family loved our experience with Anna, Star and Kiwi. We went with our 6 year old daughter and nearly 4 year old son. The ponies were friendly and gentle enough for our kids to dote upon, leading them for a walk and feeding them. The highlight for them was getting to groom the ponies at the end - my kids said that it was “funner” than washing their toy cow at home (for reference, this is one of their favourite things to do). Anna was lovely; she’s a genuinely nice and patient person who was great with the ponies and with my kids. My kids have not stopped talking about the ponies. I highly recommend this experience.

This was our first Airbnb experience and it was nothing short of magical, set in a beautiful part of the world, with very easy parking.Despite it being a hot day Anna steered us through shady areas so that we were comfortable throughout. It was a delight to get to know both Star and Kiwi and almost therapeutic to walk and trot with them, groom and feed them. I can highly recommend this as a safe experience post lockdown that can be enjoyed by all ages! I’m already wondering when I can rebook.
