What you'll do

We would love to show you the Sunset of Cappadocia on Horseback - in small groups!

First we will pick you up from your hotel in Göreme (or location nearby, free transfer conditions below) and take you to our horse ranch in Cavusin. Your main guide will be Musa, who as a native Cappadocian knows the trails inside out.

Our Sunset Tour will take you through two valleys of Cappadocia. We will start in Cavusin, ride at a slow pace on flat ground, then start going up Rose Valley. On top of Red Valley you will experience a little bit of a thrill on narrow trails that only our horses can take you. It is a relaxed ride over all, but you have to be up for a little adventure as well.

On top of Red Valley we will take a break. The horses will rest a bit, you can take in the stunning scenery. Afterwards we will see the sunset on a grass platform, take some photos and ride back down to Cavusin.

After you say bye to your horses, we will take you back to your hotel.

Please note that our free transfer includes Göreme hotels. We can organize transfer from other locations also for 100 Turkish Lira additional costs (per tour, not per person).

We are the owners of a family-run horse ranch in Cavusin/Göreme, Cappadocia. Opened by Musa, a Cappadocian Native, who has been on the horse since childhood after his grandfather opened the first horse ranch in the region of Cappadocia decades ago. And by Özlem, a big-city-girl, who found peace in this beautiful place. We, together with our team, now want to share this experience with you.

Cappadocia was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985. Its ancient name is "Katpatuka" which can be translated into "The Land of the Beautiful Horses". So we believe the most organic way to explore Valleys & Fairy Chimneys is on the back of a horse. Horses have been here for thousands of years and we are aware that Cappadocia is just as much - if not more - theirs as it is ours.

Hope to see you soon!

This was an amazing experience. The views were fantastic! Our hosts made sure we were settled on our horses and took us slowly to see the sunset. They took nice pictures for us and made sure we were all safe when riding. Thank you!

Fue lo que esperábamos, el lugar es hermoso y es muy lindo recorrerlo a caballo. Los animales son muy tranquilos y los anfitriones siempre se notaron muy confiados y nos acompañaron excelentemente todo el camino. Recomiendo!

We enjoyed the horseback riding journey. The trail felt safe, and the company had a few guides walking alongside the group to assist with the horses if needed. Beautiful sunset views.

If you’re considering of doing something very special in Cappadocia, go for this one! We had an amazing time doing horseback riding organized by Ozlem and Musa. Although it was the first horse riding for us, Musa was very reassuring. The safety is also super great. The pickup time is on time. Also, we had a great time seeing such an amazing scenery from the top of Cappadocia. I’d give 110/100 because our experience was nothing but fantastic. Highly recommend!

It’s my first time to ride a horse. It was much safer than I expected. The horse were calm. The view was amazing! It’s good to see these place without hiking yourself.
