Ruben Ochoa is considered among the most important artists currently working in Mexico. He has exhibited in Europe, the United States and Latin America, with key shows in New York, Berlin, London, Barcelona, Buenos Aires and Los Angeles as well as an ongoing cycle of exhibitions in his country of birth, Mexico. Ochoa was an elected member of the committee and jury of the National Foundation for Culture and the Arts (Ministry of Culture), Mexico. Exhibitions scheduled for 2019 include the Modern Art Museum (Mexico), the University of York (UK), The Museum of Contemporary Art (Oaxaca), Atelier Contakos (San Francisco) and the European Center of Photography (Slovakia) among others.

Where you'll be

We’ll be exploring the surroundings of Mexico’s main plaza (Zocalo) starting at 16 de Septiembre avenue and following to streets like 5 de Febrero and Uruguay to then enter to symbolic and historical streets such as Moneda, Academia and San Ildefonso to continue to the second most important plaza in the Historic Center (Santo Domingo) to then taking the also full of stories Donceles street to finish at the amazing Plaza Manuel Tolsá.
