What you'll do
We're going to have vermouth together! The vermouth is a wine steeped in herbs that is served during appetizers, of course each country has its own variety. In Spain the most common is the black vermouth of Reus, served with a slice of orange, ice, olive and siphon. Paella has been around the world but we want to show you what we do every weekend when we want to see our friends to talk about life: We meet around 12:30 in a cellar to have a vermouth at the bar, that always ends in a meal of about 3 hours based on dishes and tapas that we share. What will we learn? We will learn to serve vermouth (always with orange slice, ice olives and siphon). We will learn to make banderillas with olives, anchovies, anchovies and chilli peppers, accompanied by a secret sauce. We will also learn to make sailors, with potato salad, anchovy and some very special toasts. We will try dishes such as cod skewered, grilled vegetables with romesco sauce, mussels with vermouth and we will learn to spread bread with tomato as professionals to accompany it with ham and cheese. We will finish with catalan dessert and liquor!
I have lived for twelve years in Barcelona, so I know in detail most of the wineries in this city, which are the most delicious tapas and I love preparing them for my friends. I also like to travel around Spain and get to know the gastronomy of other parts of the country, so in a way I want to share a gastronomic experience that is a sample of each region. Banderillas from Madrid, Galician mussels, romesco sauce and Catalonian esqueixada, marinera murcianas ... A gastronomic map of our country :)
Where you'll be
We will enjoy te experience at my house, where I also work as a food photographer. It is a loft in Poblenou, the charming neighborhood in the old industrial area of Barcelona at only two steps from the sea.
