London's Ultimate Harry Potter Tour

London, United Kingdom

Experience hosted by Amy

2 hours
Up to 10 people
Hosted in English

What you'll do

Want to see London's biggest Harry Potter sights in under two hours, learn little-known HP facts, AND test your HP knowledge at the same time? Then this tour is for you.

We'll start out tour with a bit of Harry Potter trivia at the iconic Millennium Bridge. We'll then visit London's best and most-famous markets to prepare ourselves for a mind-blowing session of magic and wizardry. They may not sell Skiving Snackboxes or Fizzing Whizbees, but these markets make food to rival that of Hogwart's House-elves.

Next, we'll lead you through London's famous and lesser-known streets to see a host of magical sights from the books and films, including the Ministry of Magic, Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. We promise you, the facts we reveal about Harry Potter will leave you desperate to put your memories into a Pensieve.

Finally, we'll visit the site of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and explore the MinaLima gallery and shop, which contains REAL props from the HP films. And best of all? There will be quick-fire questions all throughout the tour for hardcore HP fans. Could you win the Goblet of Fire?
Other things to note
Please bring a topped up Oyster card as we will be taking two short tube journeys. This tour will involve 90 minutes of walking. Wear suitable shoes and come prepared for the weather!

Hiya! We're Amy, Matt, Zoe, Anna, Benny, and Hannah.

Amy is Creative Producer at Child.org. She organises these awesome Harry Potter tours to fund the charity's projects in Kenya and Sierra Leone, so we are really excited that you want to apparate (we wish) to London's best Harry Potter sights with us.

Where you'll be

We will visit a series of truly magical places from the Palace Theatre to Millennium Bridge, including (to name some major London landmarks and local haunts): Downing Street, Borough Market, Trafalgar Square, and Westminster. AND you'll get the chance to visit the Mina Lima shop, (which is like the Harry Potter shop at Charing Cross but for hardcore Potter fans) to see incredible graphic props from the franchise by their official design studio.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Matt took us to so many locations from the HP movies. At each one, we stopped and he explained the precise moment in the film when that location was used. He even had still photos from the movies to confirm. We could then take photographs of ourselves at that place...re-enacting the scene! Brilliant! We discovered parts of London we had never previously explored so that was a lovely outcome of the tour too. We had two young children with us...after a morning of walking the South Bank, they did struggle towards the end of this tour as it is quite long...so with hindsight we would have walked less in the morning!! Loved it though. Really great! Thank you.

From the beginning they were wonderful about accommodating the combination of tours and times to meet my family’s needs, even though at times different people were communicating with me and it was a bit confusing nonetheless the whole experience was extraordinary, delightful, wonderful, our guide Tom was knowledgeable, caring, patient and funny, my 3 boys who are the biggest critics and dislike anything historical or walking TOTALLY LOVE Tom, he had them mesmerized the whole time. I wish we could have Tom for our whole time here in London. TOTALLY AWESOME, completely recommend it. And to top it off kind of the cherry on top, they help a charity and truly care about the world. You would not regret spending your money with them because the tour is worth it and their charity as well.

We had a wonderful time with Dominic, our tour guide, who shared many magical details about the shootings and the movies, we really felt immersed in the harry potter experience. He also shared his wealth of knowledge about the city of london in general and gave us great tips also to our neighborhood after the tour. Overall he was very passionate about the tour and it was lots of fun to spend time with him in "Harry Potter City"! Don't miss out on this tour, if you have the chance - it is definitely time and money well spent - you are supporting a great charity as well.
