What you'll do

Join me on this amazing Sunset Tour around the viewpoints of the Albayzín and Sacromonte. Visit the most hidden views of the old muslim area like the mirador of San Nicolás, the cave houses of the gypsy quarter and the history of the grenadian flamenco, all this by the hand of an official tourist guide of the city.

We will start at Plaza Nueva, the most iconic square of the city, build by the emperor Charles V on the 16th Century. As the sun goes down we will go around the hidden viewpoints of the Albayzín while we will discover the history of the medieval quarter of the city. Finally we will arrive to the Mirador of San Nicolás for the sunset.

Next we will discover the gypsy quarter of the Sacromonte ending at the ''Paseo de los tristes'' the most beautiful street of the city.

I'm a passionate tourist guide in Granada and the Alhambra. I have 3 years of experience guiding Granada and I know all the secrets of the city. Along with my academic formation in History makes me the perfect candidate to show you the city, touristic points and monuments and also give you recomendations about where to eat or see.

Hola Sergio! I had the pleasure of having Sergio as his first tour since having a break due the pandemic. I was so lucky that he was my tour guide tonight! Thank you for sharing your passion and insight of Granada. The scenery is beautiful with some secret spots that you have taken me to but I will also remember your wonderful story telling. Thank you for the tips for tapas and paella too! If you guys want this sunset walk experience of Albaicín and Sacromonte, you will be so lucky to have Sergio as your guide.

Una experiencia muy positiva en la que se conoce más sobre la historia de Granada y se visitan rincones que sin guía serían difíciles de encontrar

As a lover of history, I found Sergio to be the perfect guide. He studied history at the university and loves the topic. Walking though two neighborhoods with so much history, I wanted to know everything and Sergio was very patient with my questions. More importantly, Sergio has a very thoughtful route that he takes the guests on to understand the history with context and views. We were learning a lot as we got to different locations and enjoyed a variety of incredible views. Sergio made it really engaging by having us do different activities as well such as trying to find pomegranate symbols on the streets. The other woman in the tour and I could find none and then Sergio opened our eyes. I have been interested and curious about these two neighborhoods for a long time and I’m so thankful I had Sergio. He is very knowledgeable, experienced and thoughtful. This was exactly what I wanted to do to learn and see this neighborhood. The laws in Spain are changing around the tickets with the Alhambra so I would contact him if you want to tour the Alhambra in the future. He also works there. I want to bring my family back and do a tour with him of the Alhambra.
