What you'll do
We will meet at our camp in Lagos 15 minutes before departure for the surf lesson. From here our surf vans will take you to one of our surf spots for your lesson. The drive takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive to the beach our driver will give you a surf board and you will follow him to the place where you meet your instructor. Your lesson will start with a proper warm up and little theory lecutre. You will learn how to position your body in the water, how to hold the board and pop up on the board. On your first lessons you will stay in shallow water, close to the shore and you will learn how to catch "white water". After your 2,5 hr lesson you will come back to the beach for delicious lunch picnic - fresh sandwitches, fruits and sweets. After your lunch and some time to chill on the beach we will pack and return to the car and drive back to Lagos. The whole trip for surf lesson takes about 5 hours.

I am a passionate surfer and traveller, working since 7 years as a head manager of one of the oldest surf camps and watersport schools in the area - Algarve Watersport. Together with a group of friends we teach watersports such as surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing , SUP and wake. I love the ocean and I try to spend as much time in the water as I can! I am also an expert when it comes to the Western Algarve, knowing almost all the surf spots and the best places to go and see.
The co-host if this experience is András Böröcz, a certified surf instructor with 3 years of experience in teaching surifng.

We will go to one of the best 3 spots in Algarve to learn surfing - Arrifana, Monte Clerigo or Amoreira. All those spots are beautiful beaches where surfers and non-surfers can enjoy their holidays.

Up to 8 guests ages 8 and up can attend.
Guest must be comfortable in open water and be able to swim.
