What you'll do

We strive to integrate the natural wisdom of the llama with the cultural heritage of this intelligent creature by relating knowledge of the Andean cosmology and the Andean spiritual path. Here you will have the opportunity to meet, greet, interact with and communicate with our specially trained llama friends.

This Experience is about llamas for wellness and educational proposes. We do believe in llamas as healers and messengers of Mother Nature (Pachamama). We want you to experience their medicine and help us on their training too.

Safety is always top priority for guests and the llamas, so our program will be different on a winter day after a rainy week than it will be on a hot August afternoon.

Please wear comfortable shoes and country clothing. We will put you into situations where you will be able to understand who these llamas are, personally discovering the different personalities that make up our herd.
Other things to note
We will introduce you to our "Speechless Brothers". Be prepared to learn all about llamas. They are smart, clean and personable. Let them know you are as well.

I have been raising, caring for, training and taking llamas into public situations since 1983. I am most honored to receive the Murray Fowler Award, the International Llama Association's PushMePullYou Award and the Llama Association of North America's Lifetime Achievement Award.

Together, Geo and Fred are working to train llamas to work with people in wellness. From January through May of 2019 alone, we have taken the llamas to UC Berkeley, UCSF, Stanford University, UC Davis, Mission College, five Bay Area high schools, two Suicide Prevention activities and the Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek.

We specialize in teaching bright young llamas the ways of people so they may learn how to best communicate.

Overall it was a wonderful experience we will remember forever. I took my 9 year old and 7 year old, Geo really took the time and catered to them making sure my kids were able to understand and participate and had the best time. I really appreciate that. Geo was extremely kind and knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. You can tell his love for the llamas. The llamas were so soft, friendly and more therapeutic than I imagined. I highly recommend for adults or for children. My kids are asking when can we go back. Side note there is lots of shade which made it very nice and cooler when the weather was a warmer day.

We went to Geo's Llamas of Circle Home with our family as a last fun outing before our big move to Oklahoma. We arrived a few minutes early and Geo and his llamas greeted us joyfully. Geo was so full of history and stories that the time flew by too quickly. We loved every minute of our experience. It was therapeutic to love on these llamas and to hug them as we were all in an emotional state of having to say goodbye to each other. The work that is being done with these beauties to increase awareness of mental health and happiness is incredible. If you ever get the chance to visit, please do, it is for a good cause and so worth it!!
