I’m Ben, the founder of Cookly - the global community of traveling foodies. Our mission is to preserve and share the food traditions of the world through authentic cooking classes with local cooks. This experience is co-hosted by one of our local partners. Here's a word from your host, Christina: I'm Christina and I've been running Sarang Cookery for 5 years now. I have a degree in culinary and I knew what I've always wanted and enjoyed. At Sarang cookery, we offer a hands-on cooking experience specializing in sought after Malaysian recipes. Lessons are held in a pre-war house right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Some dishes you'll be making including: Mee Siam (fried rice vermicelli) Ayam Sioh (chicken in coriander & tamarind sauce) Nasi Lemak (coconut fragrant rice) Rendang Ayam (slow cooked chicken curry) Nasi Kunyit (turmeric glutinous rice) Kari Kapitan (nyonya chicken curry) Mee Goreng Mamak (Indian Muslim Style of Fried Noodles) Chiken Sambal (spicy chicken cooked with shrimp paste)
