What you'll do
The magic potter's wheel. You will be able to learn the basic positions and feel the pleasant sensation of the moist clay flowing quickly under your fingers. You get so dirty, but it's surprising to see a shape grow in your hands. It is a difficult art and it takes many hours of practice before making a vase. I will help you make at least a small cup.
I am a restless architect with interests in artistic heritage and the environment, but my great passions are design and ceramics. Working with clay I feel a strong emotion and I love waiting for the oven to open to discover the wonders of ceramics with its unique variations of color and effects. I have been a teacher and tutor in professional courses. I worked with children in elementary school sculpture classes. I am now president of a cultural association. What I love most is to create my ceramics and share them with others.
Tools, materials and work shirts will be available.
