What you'll do

We will perform some combination of the following practices: Mobility -- Opening up the joints of the body to get the restrictions of the body out of the way while quieting the mind, bringing it to a more narrowed focus on just the body. Slow, controlled, mindful movements to improve the function of the joints individually, so they all work well together. Breathing -- Calling the body to action with the Wim Hof Method and live music. Stimulating the autonomic nervous system to release the healthy stress responses in the body. Meditation -- Guided contemplative meditation where we acknowledge and become aware. With this practice, the space between thoughts will gradually increase, which is where creativity and innovation shine through. Walking -- silent/meditative walking (outdoor workshops only). Discourse -- This is where we all come together to discuss our experiences, resistances, triumphs, and questions. Journaling -- Opportunities to write down thoughts and feelings as we go along. Writing is a helpful form of expression that allows us to move on and go deeper. Free the mind from attempting to to remember, allowing creativity to flow. (bring a pen)

I am the founder of Logan Kinei, a wellness company in Philadelphia. As a licensed and practicing doctor of physical therapy for the past 10 years, I have a uniquely skilled and specialized understanding of the body-mind. However, it is only when the spirituality aspect is brought in that true healing, progression and evolution take place. We become healthier, happier more peaceful people who simply enjoy life and want to share that with others. In recent years, I have delved deeper into self inquiry and awareness, which I believe to be the foundation of wellness. I believe recognition of our true nature and awareness are the answers to most of the issues we face today. I want to be immersed in awareness, nature, and a community of self inquiring people that will collectively improve the way of human interaction with all of life.

If nice weather, we will hold Logan Kinei Intro Workshop Outdoors: Azalea Garden, Water works Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19130 (behind the Art Museum) The walking meditation will be along Boathouse Row/Kelly Drive If Indoors: Performance Garage, 1515 Brandywine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130
