What you'll do

I'm so excited to share my top five favorite spots in Harlem on this guided tour. As a local in East Harlem, I would love to show you these gems while taking you back in time with bits of history. Here are some hints of what we can see: -These spots hold the statues of one great abolitionist leader and one of America's greatest jazz composers. -This park contains a shoreline that wraps around a bluff, perfect for enjoying a waterfront picnic or chat amongst the locals. -Enjoy lunch from Harlem's best eateries, with choices from vegan soul food, Japenese-inspired crepes, or classic meat-lovers comfort cooking. -Learn about the history of jazz in Harlem -Showbiz legends & amateurs alike take the stage at this longtime music hall

Michelle

I fall in love with each new city I'm in. I have traveled all over the world, from Korea to Germany, Portugal to El Salvador, and the East Coast to West Coast. I am passionate about learning the ins and outs of each place, but mostly I love interacting with the people who make it their home. I moved to New York City to soak in the culture and history of one of the most beloved cities. I have spent the last three years walking around the bustling streets and learning every day what makes this city so unique, diverse, and full of life. When hosting friends and family, I carefully design each experience to match their wants and needs for the trip. I hope to show you the best-kept secrets the city holds, from jazz music in Harlem to picnics in luscious Central Park. Feel like a local rediscovering the wonder of NYC.
