About your host

I have been a lifelong outdoor enthusiast, ultimately moving to Colorado to be closer to the mountains, after a solo journey through SE Asia in which I discovered a profound connection to the mountains in Laos. What we’ll do

We will meet in a beautiful, quiet location just west of Denver (Golden or up Clear Creek, depending on weather and transportation) where we will slow down, disconnect from our devices and reconnect to ourselves and the land under the light of the setting sun. I will introduce you to the practice of Forest Therapy & Shinrin Yoku. We will then spend about 2 hours experiencing the peaceful wonder…

What else you should know

We try to accommodate all abilities, but typically we will cover about 1 mile during the walk. No experience in meditation or forest bathing is necessary.

What I’ll provide

Snacks
I will provide fruit, nuts, cheese and local chocolates for a moonlit closing "party".
Tea
We will enjoy tea foraged from the land we have shared the evening with.
Outdoor gear
Sit-upons for guests - to feel more comfortable should they decide to sit on the ground for some of our invitations.

What to bring

Layers (weather changes rapidly in CO), water or hydration. Warm items (hat, gloves... it can get cold as the sun goes down). Feel free to leave all technology at home.
