I am the captain and owner of a 36’ long and 12’ wide SeaRay Sundancer yacht that is in immaculate condition. I’ve lived in Ottawa for 36 years, and navigated the Ottawa river in the heart of downtown Ottawa for 6 years. What we’ll do

No one else in Ottawa offers this. Once-a-year only, on Canada Day, July 1, weather permitting, only 10 spaces. This tour books full and early, if interested, don't delay. We'll meet at the Port de Plaisance Jacques-Cartier, east of the Alexandria Bridge, Quebec side, and next to Portage Champlain Yacht Club. Look for the yacht with a red canvas top. Full refund if tour cancelled due to weather. Group (4 or more) discount available. Shoes must be removed after boarding yacht. Yacht has: full bathroom, full kitchen (two fridges to keep drinks cold). Guests may bring their own beverages and/or snacks, alcohol is allowed.

Where you'll be

Along the Ottawa river on the yacht at sunset and into the early night. We'll pass under the MacDonald-Cartier bridge, by the Prime Minister’s Residence (24 Sussex) by the French Embassy, by Rideau Falls, and by the British Embassy. Mostly, we'll be anchored anchored to watch the spectacular Canada Day fireworks light show.
