What you'll do

Let's visit an historic neighborhood visitors rarely see! We will start with a short history lesson about the Georgetown neighborhood on our way to Oxbow Park to visit the Hat n' Boots. Then we will explore Airport Way's historic buildings, including the fabulous 3 block long original Seattle Brewing and Malting Company. We will view art all over this neighborhood, and stop to sample locally made chocolates in an incredible setting. Then we're off to Alki Beach in West Seattle to soak up the beachy vibe, people watching and possible wildlife sightings in the Sound. On the return trip, we will have the most amazing views of the Seattle skyline for fabulous photos for your facebook/instagram/twitter feeds!

Lynn

I'd like to show you Seattle through the eyes of a 30 year local! After working downtown in the tech industry for 20 years and meeting people from all over the world, I realized most were not seeing the most beautiful, unique, funky and historic places Seattle's locals love. My best traveling experiences have always been when a local has taken me under their wing to show me what makes their city special, so I started Seattle Under the Radar Tours to share my city's best experiences with travelers. My tours host a max of 4 people in a lovely new SUV, to create a personalized Seattle experience outside of the downtown core. These are the places I take my friends and family when they visit, and I'd like to share them with you.

Where you'll be

Georgetown is an isolated neighborhood near Boeing Field, fiercely independent and decidedly funky, artistic and free spirited. It has resisted continued efforts to demolish it's rich history along iconic Airport Way. This is one of the last pieces of old Seattle that remains in the city and is my favorite neighborhood! Alki Beach in West Seattle is the birthplace of the city we know today, with stunning views and great people watching!
