What you'll do

We'll provide you with easy to ride, comfortable, geared bikes for this circular bike tour of the largest Royal Park of London Richmond Park. Cycle along the beautiful River Thames and round this old royal hunting ground, passing the royal lodge and see deer roaming freely. This is a day out of busy Central London, just a short hop by train to Richmond in Zone 4 of South West London, here you can enjoy this hidden gem with the locals. Enjoy a protected vista overlooking the River Thames, bring a sandwich or buy a snack enroute to enjoy in this 10km2/6m2 park where you feel like you are in the countryside. We'll stop at a local pub for drinks before returning to Richmond Train Station by the beautiful riverside route. This is a truly memorable trip whilst visiting London.
Other things to note
Wear sensible outdoor clothing, waterproofs , layers etc. Avoid flappy, light colour trousers/shorts/trainers as paths can be muddy, daypack for your layers and waterproofs.

I am a Londoner, having lived in this beautiful area of South West London all my life, I now enjoy showing guests my favourite places here. I have been running bike tours since 2012 and have received Certificates Of Excellence for 7 consecutive years and entered their Hall Of Fame for consecutive 5 * customer service. I believe this half day trip out of the busy city centre gives my guest a local non touristy view of the city and country that I love. This beautiful ride is enjoyed by local families and friends, guests will be experiencing the real London.

I looked at many of the cycle tours and am SOOOOOOO HAPPY I booked with Ginette! We toured the entire Richmond Park, saw beautiful Red and Fallow deer, learned about related Royal Family history, rode along the River Thames and ended the ride with a WONDERFUL mulled wine at the White Cross Pub. The highlight was most certainly King Henry’s Mound where we were able to view St. Paul’s Cathedral via the tree-framed sightline preserved for generations. Ginette was AMAZING!!!! Rain or shine she is the ultimate guide, passionate about cycling and the history of this beautiful city. I will book her every time I’m in London. 🚲
