What you'll do
Come hungry and be ready to eat! Upon arrival you'll be greeted with the other guests with a tour of the kitchen and a quick meditation around food and gratitude. We will all introduce ourselves, go over our menu, put on aprons and get ready to cook! Everything we do and cook will be 100% hands on! All of the produce is local to San Diego and seasonal making each experience and menu one of a kind. Any questions you have about cooking techniques, knife skills, holistic healing through food, and building flavor will all be answered while we prepare! By combining classic cooking techniques with modern plant based holistic knowledge, you will continue to develop your cooking skills while learning how to incorporate more plants into daily life. Once our feast prep is completed, we will sit on the deck while sipping fresh pressed juice mocktails, enjoying our feast and and asking any questions! This is one of the best ways to get to know San Diego, enjoy the fresh and bountiful produce and meet new people along the way! Everyone will go home with recipe links and a new found knowledge of knife skills, plant based cuisine and San Diego vibes! This class will leave you satisfied, inspired and ready to be your own chef at home!
I am a holistic plant-based chef with over 9 years of experience working with private clients and on retreats in San Francisco, Hawaii, Mexico, Los Angeles, Boulder, and San Diego. I was traditionally trained in classical french cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu and after working in restaurants while dealing with chronic illness I decided to bridge the gap between comfort food in health. What started as a journey to self healing has turned into a passion for helping others heal through plants while still being able to enjoy and devour delicious cuisine. To me, health and flavor are one in the same. I am on a mission to give others the confidence they need to not only help themselves heal, but to feel like a powerhouse in their kitchen. Cooking is about fun, tradition, experimenting and transferring energy to yourself and those you love.
Where you'll be
The guests will cook and dine in my home kitchen just blocks from the beach, getting a true San Diego local experience.

For a full refund, cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start or within 24 hours of purchase.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.
Up to 5 guests aged 18 and up can attend.
As much as we try to accommodate everyone, because of the nature of the space, although we clean very throughly, we can not guarantee no cross contamination. If you have a severe or life threatening food allergy or allergy (including dogs) of any kind, unfortunately, we can not accommodate you.
