Where you'll be

Mount Cacha is a small mountain of approximately 500 metres above the ground. It’s located 8 kilometres west of the centre of Riobamba. There’s a road to the toon of Mount Cacha. We will follow the road till we arrive to the tourist centre. Here we can finding a community of indigenous people. The tourist centre has several things to see involving the indigenous people, their culture and traditions. It has a log nature and a niceness lookout.

More tips

It’s not difficulty to walk up Mt Cacha. However, the altitude is up to 3500 metres above sea level. So, we will go a bit slowly depending on the guests. The sunlight is very strong at midday. At late afternoon, it gets quite cold and windy. I recommend to take a hat and warm clothes.
